About me

  • I'm vampyr
  • From Washington, Tyne & Wear, United Kingdom
  • Jonathan Carlin (CARL!N aka vampyr) (vocals for Salute The Fallen) Salute The Fallen are a metal band from Washington, England. This metalcore quintet certainly know their craft, with a lead guitarist capable of some hypnotically fast fretwork, and a drummer with a sense of rhythmic subtlely rather than just bashing the f**k out of everything and hoping some of it's in time - the latter especially a refreshing change from some of the unsigned shite that comes out of the hardcore underground anus. Formed in 2004 we have been gigging as often as we can find a place willing to put metal bands on. We've gigged with a variety of other bands ranging right across the board including major signed bands like Norwegion Black Metal heroes MARDUK, and new signings to the Visible Noise label, DAYS OF WORTH. We love playing live so much we arent bothered if it is support or headline; you just need to watch us to know were enjoying it...
